The adventure begins before dawn. At 2:00 AM, the group departs from Thrissur by train, heading northeast toward the enchanting frontier of Nagaland. The day is spent onboard, sharing stories and anticipation as the lush plains of South India roll past the windows.

Arrival at Dimapur, Nagaland’s gateway, around noon. A scenic drive through pine-covered valleys leads to Kohima, the capital nestled among rolling hills.

By evening, transfer to Dimapur Railway Station and board the night train to Guwahati.

Early arrival at Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast. After breakfast, begin the long, scenic drive to Bomdila, ascending into the misty hills of Arunachal Pradesh. The road winds through tea gardens, dense forests, and small hill settlements.
Check into the hotel and unwind amidst the mountain chill. Explore local markets or enjoy sunset views over the valley.

After breakfast, continue north to Tawang, crossing the dramatic Sela Pass (13,700 ft) — a high-altitude gateway often blanketed in snow. Small frozen lakes, fluttering prayer flags, and panoramic peaks make the drive unforgettable.

By afternoon, proceed to Guwahati (180 km / 4–5 hrs).
