Trip Highlights:

Day 1 – Friday, January 9: Flight to the Capital

The journey begins as we board the morning flight from Kozhikode (10:05 AM) via Hyderabad, arriving in Delhi by 4:05 PM. The crisp winter air of the capital welcomes us. After a smooth transfer from the airport, we spend the evening exploring Delhi’s illuminated streets — the lively Connaught Place, colonial avenues, and city lights that shimmer with history.
Overnight stay in Delhi.

Before dawn, we travel by road to Agra (210 km), tracing the footsteps of the Mughals. The mighty Agra Fort, a red sandstone marvel, whispers tales of emperors and empires. As the sun begins to fade, the Taj Mahal rises before us — its marble face glowing golden under the setting sun, a sight that captures eternity in silence.
After dinner, we drive back to Delhi for overnight stay, our minds filled with the grandeur of love and legacy.

Morning in Delhi unfolds with a hot breakfast and a deep dive into the city’s layers of history — the Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, and the Indira Gandhi Museum.
By evening, the aroma of Old Delhi’s food lanes around Jama Masjid fills the air. As night falls, we board our train/bus to Jammu, gateway to the great Himalayas — a journey from the historic plains to the world of snow and silence. Overnight train / bus journey.

By afternoon, we reach Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir. After check-in and a brief rest, we stroll along the Dal Lake, where shimmering reflections of houseboats and the fading sun paint a tranquil picture.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast, we set off on a scenic two-hour drive to Gulmarg (2,650 m), nestled among snow-clad pine forests. Once a summer retreat of kings, Gulmarg turns into a winter paradise in January.
Take the Gondola ride, one of the highest in the world, to experience panoramic views of the Apharwat Peak, or try snow biking and skiing through the white meadows.
By evening, we return to Srinagar, ending the day with a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake — the stars reflecting like floating lanterns.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Today we explore Srinagar’s royal beauty — the Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, and the panoramic Pari Mahal.
After lunch, we walk through the soul of the city — Hazratbal Shrine, Pathar Masjid, Jamia Masjid, Khanqah-e-Moula, Dastgeer Sahib, and the colorful bazaars of Lal Chowk.
Each site tells a story — of faith, artistry, and timeless Kashmiri life.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

A three-hour drive along the Sindh River takes us to Sonmarg (2,740 m), meaning “Meadow of Gold.” Snow drapes the landscape in white silence.
If weather permits, we journey to Zero Point near Zojila Pass, or take a short horse ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, a frozen wonderland.
As evening approaches, we return to Srinagar, warmed by memories of Himalayan calm.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast, we travel through saffron fields and apple orchards to Pahalgam (2,130 m), following the Lidder River. This valley, framed by snow-covered peaks, exudes peace.
We visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, each offering postcard views of Kashmir’s winter charm.
Evening stay amidst pine forests in Pahalgam, under skies thick with stars.

Our final morning dawns over the white valleys of Kashmir. After breakfast, we transfer to Srinagar Airport for the 4:55 PM flight to Kozhikode via Hyderabad, reaching by 11:10 PM.
As the plane ascends over the snowy peaks, we carry home the whispers of the Himalayas — of history, hospitality, and heart-stirring beauty.
